"Gola" at the Teatre Nacional de Catalunya
Performing Arts

"It doesn't stop, it doesn't stop. It wants to savour everything"
Gola is a show based on the idea of gluttony understood as the need and vice of excessively devouring everything we desire or are made to desire. It is a proposal that seeks to include different languages performed by a single actor, Oriol Pla.
The journey of an actor-character, in a constantly evolving space, who only knows how to reflect by placing himself in border spaces, in the cracks between voice and word; performance and theatre; movement and dance; the fool and the clown, as a metaphor for the trap behind the illusion of being able to devour it all.
