"Abecedari" at Sala Beckett

Thirty years ago, philosopher Gilles Deleuze threw himself from the window of his Paris flat. As a final gesture, he left a kind of will: an interview in the form of an alphabet, where each letter became a concept. A year after his death, two students in Paris are preparing a thesis on his legacy. But their disagreements about how to read and interpret that alphabet (and also about the meaning of his death) soon become a dead end. Everything changes with the appearance of an illiterate storyteller who offers them another kind of legacy: a legacy without letters. From here on, understanding Deleuze will no longer be a matter of defining concepts, but of traversing stories, putting them to the test, and knowing how to listen to and interpret them.
